Scott Benson holds credits on numerous music recordings, feature films, television series, and interactive entertainment projects. Scott has completed work for several of the entertainment industry's largest companies, including Disney, Fox, Lifetime Network, CTV, CBC, Electronic Arts, and The Discovery Channel.

Scott's video game credit list includes NHL 07, NBA Live 06, FIFA World Cup 06, and FIFA 06. Television and film credits include Daily Planet (television series, Discovery Channel), Snow Buddies (feature film, Disney), Intelligence (TV series, Haddock Entertainment/CBC), The Quality of Life (MOW, Haddock Entertainment/CBC), and Civic Duty (feature film, Fox/Sepia). Scott's work won a Gemini Award in 2007, and he has also been nominated for Leo Awards (Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Foundation of British Columbia).

Scott has engineered music recording sessions for many internationally acclaimed artists, including San Francisco's Afiara String Quartet, Russia's Rusquartet, Ireland's Caoimhin O Raghallaigh, and Ronald Leonard, former principal cellist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Scott was the recipient of the 2009 MusiCounts Award for Outstanding Achievement in Recording Arts and Sciences, presented by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.

Scott has participated in audio research projects for Stanford University/Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics, The Banff Centre, and the University of Calgary.
